The RT01 can swiftly identify if your relay is functioning properly. It is user-friendly and compatible with standard automotive relays available in the market. During the testing process, it must be connected to a 11V-25V battery in the vehicle. The device will automatically assess the pin configuration, the timing of the release action, and the relay’s consistency at each testing phase. If the green LED lights up, it indicates that the relay is functioning correctly; if the red LED is illuminated, it signifies that the relay is faulty.

Instructions for operation: 1) Attach the alligator clip of the tester to the car battery, connecting the black clip to the negative terminal and the red clip to the positive terminal. 2) The tester is ready to begin testing when the red LED light illuminates. 3) Before testing, verify the relay. If it has 4 pins, select the 4-pin socket on the tester; if it has 5 pins, select the 5-pin socket. 4) Insert the relay into one of the three available sockets. 5) Press the ‘Test’ button.
6) The device will automatically identify the pin configuration of the unidentified relay. If the relay is not a standard model available in the market or is faulty, the device will activate a red LED indicator. 7) Once the foot position is accurately adjusted, the device will perform 10 cycles of opening and closing to measure the release duration of the action. If the measurement duration exceeds the acceptable limit, the device will illuminate the red LED indicator.
8) Once the tester has identified the action release time 10 times, begin checking the relay’s consistency. If the test passes, the green light will illuminate; if it fails, the red light will turn on. 9) After finishing the test, detach the alligator clip from the battery and take the relay out of the tester.
